Uniden MHS125 Marine Handheld Radio

Uniden MHS125 Marine Handheld Radio
I recently used this radio on a trip by sail boat down the atlantic intercoastal waterway. It worked very well, the output power was definatly adequate for this purpose as was the reception. I used the radio almost exclusively for communication to the coast guard and other authorities along the way seeking information and passage through draw bridges. The battery life is excellant and it really comes in handy to have the backup alkaline battery pack, although I never needed to use it I was reassured to have it in case of a real emergency. - - Customer Reviews
